From 2018 to 2019, he worked as an Assistant Professor at FURG, and from 2020 to 2022, he served as an Assistant Professor IV at the Franciscan University (UFN). From 2022 to 2023, he conducted post-doctoral research in the PRH-22 program at FURG, focusing on mathematical modeling and controller design for hybrid systems. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), based in the Engineering Center, and a member of the Intelligent Systems and Control Group (GSIC). His main research areas include I) Control applied to renewable energy systems; II) Robust Adaptive Control Theory based on discrete-time Model Reference; III) Mathematical modeling and control of dynamic systems with time delay, nonlinearities, unmodeled dynamics, disturbances, and considering reduced-order models; IV) Metaheuristic optimization, particularly bioinspired algorithms."
