The research group in Automation and Intelligent Robotics (NAUTEC) has as objective researching and developing new computational techniques and analysis algorithms, modelling and sensors and actuators networks control, being those constitute by Automation Systems, as well grouped in Robotic Systems. Since it's foundation in 2001, the group has been developing researches focused in new educational applications; oil industry, gas and energy; oceanic and offshore ecosystems. Founded by a group of more than 20 researches (professors and technicians), 15 postgraduating (doctors and masters) and 40 graduation students, the research group acts in many projects with both governmental institutions and companies, as well as participate in many international and national cooperations.
